Erinlé

This orixá is covered by awo, the secret, so very little will be said about it here.

He is a Yoruba deity, worshiped in the Erinle River region, which is a tributary of the Osun River in Nigeria.

He is a hunter, an orixá odé.

His hunting ground is the mountain tops.

He is the brave and unbeatable hunter who is able to capture the most difficult of all animals: the elephant.

He is calm, quiet, a great observer.

He is the head of all hunters.

Erinle embodies the energy of adult and mature people, those who are serious due to life experience.

He is very close to Oxalá and Iyemanjá.

He lives in the mountains and in the currents of water.

Our Casa de Axé is dedicated to him.
