Oxalufã

Oxalufã is a father. He is the orixá of wisdom. The one who carries on his shoulders all the weight of the world, all the burdens of his children.

Originally worshipped in Ife, he is the oldest of all the orixás in the pantheon and therefore respected and homaged to by all the other deities.

His manifestation during a feast of candomblé is always a reason of great joy.

He is very calm, introspective, does not like confusion and colours. He only accepts the white colour, which means pureness, transparency, balance.

He embodies the energy of sunset, of silence and of peace.
