Ayrá

Ayrá is a young funfun (white) orixá, originally worshipped in the African region called Savé. Very smart, he is the orixá of barter and retail trade.

He wandered among many African tribes and settled for a long time in the kingdom of Xango, which is why he is worshiped along with this orisha, although he is not his descendant.

After a long time with Xango, Ayrá moved to the kingdom of Oxalá where he spent many years.

Oxalá shared with Ayrá the secrets of the reign.

This is the reason why Ayrá is considered an orixá funfun.

He is honored on Wednesday and his colours are red and white.

He embodies the energy of fire and represents this element of nature.

His character is very strong, capricious, often childlike. He must always be in the spotlight.
